IMF expects UK economy to avoid recession 

The International Monetary Fund (IMF) has upgraded its forecast for UK growth, saying that the country will no longer fall into recession this year. The latest release suggests UK growth will now reach 0.4%this year.

House prices at new high as market conditions improve

 

The average price of houses coming to the market in May reached a new record of £372,894 with new sellers responding to an improving housing market.

 

According to Rightmove, average new seller asking prices jumped by 1.8%, or £6,647, this month.
